Crumbs Beneath the Table, 2025

Ian's 2025 collection of poems, Crumbs, is resounds with both whispers and roars from the poet's heart, head, and soul.

The title and the cover photo were inspired by the legend of Don Juan: the dinner guest is a stone statue-ghost of a father-victim of the Don’s — arriving not to sup congenially but to damn a heartless Don with hellish deserts. As the title of the present volume indicates, the poems within are invitations to a banquet of what lies unseen in the photo, perhaps unseeable all together: crumbs of transformation and upliftment. —The Editor
